Hey all,
I know I have a ton of PM's to go through, but I thought I'd pop in to say that I am back in the saddle.
For those of you who may not have been aware, at the end of August I broke my wrist (quite severely. You wouldn't want to see the pictures hah). It required surgery, but as with all operations which require general anesthasia, they had to do a lot of pre-operative tests, one of which determined anomalies in my liver function.
An extremely abbreviated summary of the rest of the story, is that they discovered a large tumor in my liver which also needed to be removed. September, I was basically in the hospital, with two surgeries under my belt (it was not at all fun). I worked while in the hospital, but obviously in a very limited fashion (I only had the use of one hand after all).
Regardless, this past Monday, I received the pathology results, and the tumor is not cancerous, and the wrist is healing well, so they can remove the external fixation device two weeks earlier (google it if you dare).
So, back in the office and working well, although I will be back in the hospital for a small surgery next week to remove the wrist device.
I have a long list, but some of you can expect some responses today
