It has been two years

Here goes nothing

Let us assume that I did horrible things, and that I was dishonest. Do you believe people can change? Will you let me prove it?

I was 14 years old when I created my first Sythe account. From then on all I did was making despicable mistakes, until I created the account Nyx. But the evil had been done, with as peak scamming, out of anger of being treated falsly by the staff and being scammed my self. I felt powerless, and I was a greedy kid. I wanted to take something back.

As Nyx I was respected, and trusted. I started feeling regret for what I had done a year before then. But I still was a foolish kid. I was 16 years old, and instead of confessing everything I had done, I lied to the staff by confessing some of the things I did, and blatantly denying others.

I think over the past two years I began to see what I had done. How something that seemed innocent actually made me a thief. I genuinely regret it, and I have waited way too long to get in touch with the victims of my actions. I will do so now, in the light of my request. I fully realize this won't improve the already minimal chances of me being forgiven, but I hope you don't think that is why I do this. I do this because lately it has kept me awake. I was always against shoplifting, and I never understood why some 'friends' from the past did it. But how was I any different, if not worse? With my idiotic social engineering, Jesus. I am ashamed.

You may think that people don't change. But I was a kid. Will I be locked out of Sythe forever, for what I have done? I genuinely believe I am a better man now. Though this is in no way an excuse for my actions, I had a rough puberty and I was as unstable as a kid of that age can be. I'm going to university now, I've calmed down, I am no longer the greedy and power hungry fool I was.

I've wanted to request a pardon every single month since my ban. But I have been patient. All I can do now is beg that you believe that I have changed.

If I could return, I don't care it is with a market ban, a TWC and all that, I would prove that people change. If you don't believe that, at least believe that kids grow up. Eventually.

I would also like to get in touch with RuinedLie. I believe he was the one I scammed, but I could not find an email adress in his profile.
