From some of my older friends it's probably senioritis. It's like when you get tired of school and you don't feel like you should finish. Just push yourself to get to school and you'll be fine.

 

Same thing with me this year (senior year). It just gets boring going there every single day. Just go to school and get shit out of the way. Next year if you need a year off before you start college/working, use that as your free time. You don't want to have to take 12th grade again.

 

Maybe you went to school so long you just finally got tired of it. But trust me if i didnt have to go to school i wouldnt. But its just whatever you choose.

Haha, I did the same exact thing. In fact, I only recently enrolled back into school.

I started off skipping every other day or so with a few friends, then it got to the point where it was every day that I would stay home and invite everyone over. This went on for well over a month.

Anyway, one thing lead to another and they filed truancy but I withdrew (essentially the same thing as dropping out) before they took me to court so they dropped all of the charges. Now I'm back and serving 15 days in ISS and then going to alternative placement for another 15-30. Lol.

 

Lucky ass. The Nazi's over here make you APPEAL for your credits if you have more than 8 absences. It doesn't matter if you skipped, parent note covers, or if it's for a school sponsored activity. After those 8 absences, you put your fate into a group a angry old men that 9/10 end up fucking you.

Keep up your grades and count your blessings. Skip, but keep things in perspective.

Haha theres nothing wrong with you... I don't think... Anyway I'm a senior, too and sometimes I'm just so sick of school and all the years I've been there so I jsut stay home. Or if I drive to get breakfast before school and end up late, I just stay home.

But you better get back soon, if you miss too many days in some schools they hold you back.
