Is rap starting to become original again?

There has been a lot of stupid shit recently...his new album is really good. Most stuff these days is complete poop...which is why I don't listen to anymore as much...still listen to, though.

 

There has always been a steady flow of rap/hip hop, you just dont know where to look for it.

i mean, you could say that any genre died in actuality, but its because the good, true music that sticks to a genres origin can't be found on mtv, or on the media in general. for instance punk rock, you wont find any of that on much music, but there are tons of local shows going on in every city, where kids of suprising ages are playing shows, and spreading the DIY message, which i find to be very inspiring.

My favorite hip hop release to be ever produced, amazing lyrics, no fake bull shit, 100 percent real

Lupe Fiasco- Food And Wine

this kid is like 17, and you wont believe it when you hear this album.

Wu-tang clan- everything and anything released by them

wu-tang is the greatest rap group to ever exist without a doubt.

 

Are you joking me? Mainstream rap has just gotten worse and worse for example Flo-Rida, T-Pain, etc. these can barely be considered rap except for the fact that black people are singing it. And the best rapper considered today is Lil Wayne which is a complete joke.

There has always been good rap if you look for it. But does it matter? Just listen to whatever makes you feel good.

 

Thats basically what im trying to say, stay away from the mainstream.

i like those two aswell, anyone have other artists that are actually good?

 

back in the 90's i use to LOVE rap..but now its turning into something to whoever can say something along the lines of "SEX,DRUGS,Money".. old rap use to be good..

now im more of a metal person, but i still listen to the old shit.
