is p2p pking ruined?

it used to be melle killed range and now range kills mage and melle its messed up everythin lol

 

sorry but I am just a tank im level 53 with 61 range =D I've seen myself hit 23 with dragon bolts (e) before but I still got cleaned 7m because my range just ain't high enough

 

P2p pking is definitely screwed up. on youtube this chick N A V E N did a dark bow video and shes 80 range hitting 35+ with the dark bow..They need to supe up melee and mage. But you have to take into concept that pures at 60-70 cb are hitting 20-20 specs + totalling up to a 40...and i remember at 68 cb on my pc product i was hitting 32s and 30 30 specs with the dds.

 

I like how pking is more fast paced now, instead of having to go through an whole inventory of sharks/opponents teleing, you can actually kill them now.

 

yo say at lvl 65 combat u where specialing 30 30s but my freind has got 74 ranging and 44 prayer and hes only 58 combat. so he could prolly do a 40-50 with darts and he is still 7 or so lower lvls then u. id say its ruined and if jegax doesn't do something then all u will see is range pure pkers.

 

The hits are a bit to high yeah, Especially in combination with ice barrage melee'rs are chanceless, first rune cbow where you can hit up to 60 with 99 range. And now dark bow which can do a 45,45 spec. If you use pray and pots obviously. The only good thing about it is that the bows and arrows are not to cheap. The thing with the dds was that a super cheap weapon every noob can afford owns hard. Now you've got to have some cash, so it means that if you manage to kill a ranger you'll get some money, like whip pk's there will be dark bow pk's.

 

agree'd - the thing is overpowered - kinda like a MP5 with explosive tipped bullets that lockon to the person's DNA code, that strike the head every time, but incase u don't die, u get radiation from the blast......... would be fun use watch - but not fun to be on the other side of

 

they dont really own that much, main thing to do is spec when they hit with mage bow spec then there about to put on c bow i tend to find that works al0t i pked 100 d bolts last week w00ot

 

The nerf will no doubt come, it always does.

Maybe this update shows that you'll need to get def and use rune/barrows armour to block the range attacks. And that being a 1def 1item pure who uses item protect to save his dds isn't that good anymore. I think that it's good to make people wear more armour in p2p wildy, I really hated 1item noobs.

 

I hate it when you go out from varrock and three dds specialers take you down in one synchronized hit X(

 

It isn't ruined, I usually (Noobily) use range pray and I don't see heaps of people using them because the bolts are Uber expensive.

 

lets keep it simple... yes p2p pking is ruined.. almost 98% of people in wildy r pures no fun anymore
