Is OSRS dying? Players returning to RS3?

Heard alot of people going back to RS3. Is OSRS finally dying out? The economy has seem'd to have crashed and alot of gold farmers on OSRS now. Do you think jagex will do something about the economy crash? Really hope the game don't die out. I can't deal with EOC it's shit.

What future do you see for OSRS?

 

People say this shit every year dude. Although there's a lot less people playing compared to 2019-2020, its still a lot more compared to what it was in 2017 and the years prior.

The economy has gone to shit because there hasn't been a new boss for over a year and they havent added any items sinks either, the games not dying but its definitely in a shitty place atm

well no shit, they released a hard mode and thus more purples are coming into the game. instead of releasing new end game content, jagex is just adding hard modes and shit.

 

I think it may be a mix of a few things for the possible decline, in my opinion it would be the content they arent working on, for example pvp changes, item sinks, events, wrongful bans.
But it seems to be still steady on players I don’t think it’s on much of a decline. Just got to wait for content and things to draw more players in

 

my opinion is osrs and rs3 both dying in a few years, doubt osrs players enjoys rs3 though.

 

Hopefully jagex have got some tricks up there sleeve!

 

I have heard the Runescape dying talk for the past 11 years.

 

it was acutally dead back in the day when non trade market and the remove of the wilderness
(ofc it brought with it the riots and everything that made the free market back) but I get your point

have u think about something? I ask myself everytime this, maybe paying some big streamer/youtube to play which aren't in the runescape world so their community would be interesed and get attached
