Believe it or not, I actually haven’t gambled on anything for over 10 years. Unless you count the stock market.

Back in like 2011 or 2012 I lost like 25b staking in one night so I don’t gamble at all. Learned the lesson that statistics will eventually fuck you. No idea market price of GP back but it would have been a sizable amount of money.

I had a brilliant strategy of dividing my gold stack into 11 piles of doubled bets each time. For example:

1. 12.5m
2: 25m
3: 50m
4: 100m
5: 200m
6: 400m
7: 800m
8: 1600m
9: 3200m
10: 6400m
11: 12800m

The beauty of this strategy was as long as you won you would essentially net 12.5m for every win, and losses wouldn’t matter because the sum of the losses is always 12.5m less than the winnings.

But statistics always get you. The chance of losing 11 straight is 0.04883% but guess what it happened.

So that’s why I don’t actually gamble, unless you can sway the odds in your favor for known variables you will lose in the long run.
