Inconsistency

I don't know why but my play is really inconsistent I can honestly play against S3 players on my friends account and get smashed in lane but I can play D2 somtimes and you will see me carry 4v5 or something and pull plays that I wish I had lol recorder for.

I know what you mean, Ghostboost can say the same about my draven. It's probably just a matter of playing safer in lane, and taking less risks

Focus Farm and dont make hasty plays.
One thing that helps me out is to know how much damage each of my abilites does and compare the numbers to the enemies health.

What you are saying happens to me sometimes and its kinda funny. At our main elos what ever it may be you get sort of accustomed to what the enemy might do and how they might react. When you boost the skill and mechanical knowledge of the lower elo players will be lower and they make plays that are kind of crazy and do things that make you say "dafuq just happend" things you typically wont see when you play at your elo.

Low ELO games are win by risk, high ELO games are won with a more balanced, smart play style.

Yeah being consistent is one of the most important things, a lot of players are good but just can't perform well on a regular basis which is required to climb Elo nicely.....I guess its just a practice thing and not letting things get to you're head as far as tilting goes

I think you should farm gold more and as Ghostboost is saying, you should see the amount of damage you did.
