In regards to recent events.

Not sure what all exactly you did but I'm sure lesser people would be banned and not allowed back as well but because you were already admin/mod you get the special treatment just as Finn [guy scammed 3 different times and was allowed back with adminship all times[except the time b4 he was admin] it's shit like that that made me leave this place in the first place. Sythe needs to get impartial mods/admins [ppl who don't play the main traded games anymore] and actual adults most of the sythe staff last time I was here was under the age of 16 and while some are mature at that age most are not.

Spam forum is one of the main reason why I'm (and most likely others) not as active in the community as I could be. For some reason some people think that they are allowed to say anything they want and even personally attack fellow members just because it's the spam forum. The staffs ineffectiveness to resolve this issue is just awful and kinda sad. The only reason people like "MASSIVE faggot" are doing as they wish is because the staff is too soft on these issues. Just stop with all the "that ban wasn't really that justified as we also had a part in it" and just ban them and be done with it. ELSE THESE THINGS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! Am I really the only one who keeps seeing this pattern? Stop banning the people who go along with the known authors of countless shitstorms and ban the politically correct authors themselves. Go for the roots not the blooms that pop up ocationally.

Ryan, I am glad that recent events didnt make you quit sythe all together and that you are OK. I just think youd be better off being an active member and not staff. You do NOT do well with power and it HAS gone to your head.

To anyone whiteknighting nano saying things like "hes done soo much for the site ect ect" i say this: his demeanor and abuse of power had flat out disgusted people enough to QUIT sythe. His reckless bans over PETTY bs (not regarding ALL these most recent bans) have taken dozens of active sythe members, dozens we cannot spare. Whatever it is nano "does" that so impresses you brownnosers so is beyond me, it surely isnt bring new members to the site (aside from trin lol) or help sustain those that are here.

 

I must say that I agree with what a lot of people are saying Ryan. Your attitude directly correlates to your rank. A big difference between global n4n0 and admin n4n0 was the ability to accept criticism and try to make attitude changes. I must say I liked you a lot better when you were a sectional/global. I still hope all is well in your life but I think you should really consider where you want to be on Sythe.

 

Everything said here is completly within the lines of my beliefs about you, Ryan.

I've been apart of Sythe for about 2 months now, and have a pretty good grasp of how things go around here. I'm sorry I didn't know this great N4N0 everyone speaks of, because he sounds like a great part of Sythe.

I've heavily thought of leaving Sythe because of you, which is a shame- because that is the only reason whatsoever. Refer to everything said in the quote for some of the reasons, then add in the fact I was banned from the spam forum because I posted a link to your girlfriends profile.

My feedback remains the same now until it can be shown otherwise.

(My feedback in the other thread where I tried giving legitimate constructive criticism and you replied with arrogant offensive remarks.)

Looking forward to watching how you try to change. That would be great for yourself and the community here.

I think the real difference is admin nano looks more intimidating with more power. Ive noticed his anger issues in the past, like where he locked a thread and made a rather rude remark to a new user. He realized he was wrong and did something about it.

A few months ago I gave him bad feedback, bad enough that I didn't want to post it in his feedback thread and I pmed him instead. Prior to me giving that feedback, I would have also thought that Ryan couldnt accept criticism. He took it better than I expected, and he takes the time to actually read my walls of text which usually consists of feedback and my opinion of him.

People are afraid of criticizing admin Nano, maybe the fear of retaliation simply because he can. Im not sure if Nano has realized how much bad feedback he got when he was global/section compared to admin. No one really told him he was wrong as an admin. I know I am one of the few, if the only one, that has kept up with nano the past few months since a clash we had. He has been working on his anger issues and has been improving since. To me it seemed like both a mixture of the power he got as an admin and the lack of criticism given to him that made him think what he was doing was fine.

I've since found out what happened but wasn't involved in it - regardless, owning up and apologizing is hard to do in any aspect of life, including a forum online. Fair play.

Aside from the SF you're a huge asset to this site, so to see you return is only a good thing, perhaps keep a lid on it in the SF in future.
