Glad you're alright as things went way too far. Not excited about you returning as
Admin or staff though.

You still some "master troll"? LOL

 

I am absolutely disgusted by the decision to allow you to return, especially so soon after you caused a shit storm. Your actions directly resulted in a dozen or so good, active members being banned because of your "trolling" and "winning". Let's not ignore the fact that this isn't the first time you've abused your power on this site.

You're just like Finn: You use this site for your personal benefit, you have little to no objectivity, you staunchly support your inner circle even when they're wrong, you're a past scammer, you spend hours a day on tinychat talking to your "buddies", you ban people you don't like for little to no reason and you pull the sympathy card everytime you fuck up. You're not an asset to this site, you're a detriment to the community in general.

Now onto the "recent events", that was all YOUR fault. You gave newfag a bunch of ranks, ranks that you won't give to people who've been here for years with THOUSANDS of posts, then you made a half dozen or so spam threads basically saying "I can do whatever the fuck I want". It didn't help that the newfag was a complete imbecile either. You both kept going and going and going. Don't give me this "I didn't deserve what happened to me" story, because not only did you deserve it, you caused it.

The real loss is the members who got banned. I'm so mad that we'll be without a half dozen or so active members because you decided that the goldfish you're dating was more important than this site. This site is already struggling for discussion based activity without admin fuck-ups costing us the few daily active users we still have. There's a term for what you did, it's called entrapment, and it's punishable. I can't believe you can just waltz back in to power after your actions, not just over the past couple of days, but for your term as an admin in general.

The fact that Trin still has a fun rank is just a slap in the face. I don't care for fun ranks myself but you're not allowed to vouch a real life acquantaince, what allows you to give her a rare fun rank when users can't even fucking buy them. And let's not kid ourselves, the majority of people "begging" you to come back knew you'd come back sooner rather than later and used it as an opportunity to get in your good books. Because just like Finn, they know that kissing your asses gets them places. Congratulations, you've just emulated the most hated and corrupt user in the history of this site.

Also, saying you gave the bans to "calm and control things" is plain bullshit, you banned people because your jimmies were rustled. You did what you've always done when you've gotten mad, give out bans. You don't deserve the admin rank. There's far more worthy people. Though unfortunately, merit isn't what gets people positions on this site, it's politics.

You showed no remorse for your actions before you fucked up. Now that you've fucked up, surprise surprise! You have remorse. I don't buy a word you're saying and after the dust is settled you'll return to your usual, corrupt ways.

There's my two cents for anyone who wanted it. I'm not angry, I just feel like I have to say exactly how I feel because I know too many users are scared to say how they feel.

All the rage and shit aside, have you considered maybe dropping to Global for a little while? FireZ did it and his attitude has improved immensely and he's not as arrogant as before at all (though I didn't personally have a problem with him anyway). It's something you could think about.

You were a bit more calm and less arrogant when you were a Global mod, and even more when you were a Sectional. Do you remember when you PMed me last February when you had just hit Global and such? You were fine then, no problems at all.

I don't really have anything to say about you coming back so soon. It's probably not a good idea to let personal feelings (i.e. your girlfriend) get in the way of how site / rules work.

While I had no idea what was happening at the time, I've tried to get an understanding of what happened - purely out of curiosity. As someone who is totally outside of this whole situation, I feel like at least one of Marrow's points has hit the nail on the head:

I've never spoken at length (or at all in some cases) to any of the people banned due to this, or yourself [n4n0], so I can't claim to care deeply about the outcome of this whole thing.. But there are elements of this situation that stink of power abuse and there's no denying that.
