Impulse Buys?

Usually only impulse buy if its something small, like a hat etc

 

I'm trying to fight the urge to impulse buy a vape as we speak. My friend as one and it's heavenly but I don't even smoke cigarettes (I have two times they're nasty.)

I'm probably going to cave.

I don't know if I'd call them impulse due to the amount of research and prior planning I do, but I consistently look for excuses to purchase new things (so yeah, kinda impulse-like).

Most recently, I bought a 2015 Macbook Retina 13" (I had a 2014 Macbook Air 13"). There wasn't a real reason for the purchase, but my justifications centered around the screen, force touch, and the significant processing power boost that would come from it. I did a significant amount of research, but it's the same for many things.

 

Nothing big. Usually clothing if I see something I like.

 

Vinyl for me.

Worst thing I ever bought was probably one of those 10 pound gummy bears. Waste of money but free dia-beetus.

I bought a MMO on steam out of impulse, it's the repopulation, and haven't even had time to try it out.

Literally everything related to vaping / smoking is an impulse buy for me.

Was in my vape shop yesterday looking for an atty and ended up picking up a Snow Wolf 200W along with the Mutation you recommended.

Not to mention my Pax, Subox Mini, a few Subtanks, more juice than I need, a JET x5 with 5 stacks and a Grasshopper on the way here hopefully in a month or so.

Out of curiosity though, what's the chair like? I've been tempted to get one.

 

Hmm, its kind of hard to describe. Sitting in it felt weird for a couple hours. Probably because it corrects your bad posture. After some use though I'm convinced its a lot better, because I can sit for longer without getting uncomfortable.

Overall I'm glad that I bought it. I appreciate the look, and the materials are all nice. The padding is also great. But the best part really comes with how much there is to adjust. The arm rests can go up, down, left, right, forward, backward. The spring for leaning back can be adjusted from stiff to loose. The chair can be raised and lowered a pretty decent range. The pillows can slide up and down. The seat even locks back in different positions. Doesn't take long to get it just how you like it

If you have some money burning a hole in your pocket I think you'd probably enjoy owning one.

I impulse bought a chair too. Herman Miller Embody. It's not the worst money I have ever spent since an ergonomic chair can much better support you if you are in front of a computer all day working. But $1200 is a bit steep for any chair regardless and I'll always feel a little stupid spending that much.
