This. Pretty much the same situation if an unattractive women called me attractive it doesn't really matter if he is gay.

 

My brother always used to say: You know you're attractive when a guy says so

 

"Cool, I'm not gay though."

 

I don't really like flamboyant Gay guys , if they said I was attractive I'd probably take it the wrong way.

Guess to a less flamboyant gay I'd say thanks and briskly walk off.

 

I would probably just say "thanks" and keep doing what I was doing.

 

If i knew the guy, i'd be quite flattered. If it was just some stranger in the street, i'd be a bit weirded out as to why he felt the need to come up and tell me, but i'd thank him for the compliment nonetheless.

I find it hard to comprehend how homosexuality still exists in modern countries..

 

Homosexuals are just. Not natural. It's just not cool.
And the very fact they felt the need to tell me (Statistically, it's very unlikely i'm gay) would make me think he's attention seeking and asking for a bad reaction from me.
I wouldn't be happy that he said that. It's just nasty.

 

I would take it as a compliment. Gay "Men" act and think like girls.
Just think of it as a fat girl complimenting you... Still makes you feel good but you would still never get with them..... Unless your into that kinda stuff... lol

Has it ever occurred to you that they might just be trying to be generally friendly? Their disposition towards men does not make it awkward in any way for them to compliment you or scold you on your looks. Furthermore, a compliment does not constitute they want to be with you. A compliment therefore does not constitute attention seeking. You're thinking about it the wrong way and, to be honest, it's kind of pathetic that you'd neglect someone just because they're different. Well, not "kind of", more like "very".

 

I would probably end up being friends with him, but it would be a shame that we couldn't be together, especially if he was good looking himself(since I'm female). A lot of gay guys tend to be really attractive ones themselves, which makes me just sigh.
