If a gay guy called you attractive...

I like women, and guys. Im Bi - Does this mean Im automatically attracted to every guy/girl I see?

Homosexuals have been around for Millennia. While a minority (1-12% depending on where you like...) It's close minded people that ultimately make a big deal about something that A) Doesnt affect them in the least. If a Fat and Ugly girl likes you, how the hell is that different from an attractive (or fat and ugly) guy?

AND B) Is NOT a something that needs bother you. Instead of taking a negative view about someone appreciating you, keep a positive attitude. The person just wanted to let you know (Which straight people do to me all the time...)... Whats the difference

I dislike people who have even the slightest homophobia. It's not a problem to me if a man/woman like people from their own gender. It's their own decision (although, there's an argument where some people are born with their homosexual desire).

I would thank the person for their compliment, and walk away. If it was someone I knew, they'd already know I am straight.

I have no problem having a conversation with a gay man but if they are having a conversation with me it would be quite obvious I'm not gay. Therefore by saying I'm attractive they would be stepping WAY over their boundaries and make me feel way to uncomfortable to just continue talking or let them walk away.

 

Yes, homophobia would be the fear of gays. If I ever meet someone with homophobia I will just laugh at them for hours on end.

What's the difference between a compliment from a gay man and a straight girl?

 

It's kind of like getting a compliment face to face with a girl you find attractive and one you don't find attractive. In the first scenario it's more comfortable, while in the second it's kind of awkward.

 

I'd thank him for the compliment but make sure it was implied that I'm a heterosexual.

Either way you have to say thanks to avoid being a total dick. There still a person and their opinion should matter. I don't see the big deal, as long as their clear about your sexual preferences.

I'd take the compliment and move on, no harm is done. Like others have said, I would take it no differently than a girl giving me a compliment.

I disagree. I could call you attractive (Me being a guy)... Even if it had nothing to do with my sexuality, maybe you're just an attractive guy.

 

Other way around...I was the one who commented on their attractiveness.

By the looks of it, this is not something a gay guy should do with anyone..just for the fact that it makes almost all of you uncomfortable, or wanting to punch someone and/or babies.
Doesn't really bother me either way though. It's nice to get answers.

let's be honest here who on sythe with the exception of a select few is attractive? If it happened to me, which it has, I'd ask what about me is attractive, but also let him know you're straight. Just because a gay guy thinks your attractive does not make you gay.

 

I would appreciate the compliment, and tell him I'm straight and not interested.
