I was banned for botting while playing legit.... Need help getting back on

They have banned tons of legitimate players, they are banning anyone who they think is goldfarming without asking, this is why they focus on Ess miners, Flax Pickers, and Yews/magics, I would recommend to stay away from these on bot busting days, even if you are legit.

 

indeed don't go there they will ban you even though your legit trust me happend to alot of people i know who do magic logs.

This actually happened to a friend of mine a few weeks ago. He never botted or anything, but they banned him for some stupid reason. I told him to email parents@jagex -- they didn't give a reason as to why he was banned or respond, but he was unbanned. Best of luck dude

 

Have a stern word on [email protected] - usually does the trick.

Send a POLITE, well written email fully explaining the situation. Refrain from being openly offensive, by all means express your frustration but do so in an articulate manner. The person at the other end of the email didn't ban you, and no-one had intentions of banning accounts that have done nothing wrong.

Include the following account details; Your username, associated account email address, any billing receipts that you have from Jagex. This helps verify that you are the owner of the account, do not send your password.

You can also consider sending a letter to their HQ, the postal address can be found on the website.

Whilst the situation is beyond frustrating I cannot stress enough how much a polite and refrained message will make the process of regaining your account much faster and less painful.
Might I also suggest that ONE of you posts a polite, well constructed, post on the 07scape forums and drop a link in the comments - others with the same problem can bump this. (Please verify the website you login to IS the official forums and not a phishing link)
Finally, if you wish; post your story and screenshots as a reply to this post, instead of creating a new thread.
I sincerely hope the Mods read this post and take action to rectify any mistakes made when removing bots.

ahaa i was banned when i was botting but soon after i recieved a email stating they made a mistake and gave me 20 spins on s.o.f didnt even appeal it

 

HAHA! So not only did the bot busts miss (the majority of) bots, but any it did catch has a free pass off? Love it!

Wow, that's it. Any fraction of a speck of respect I had for Jagex is now gone.

Screw it, I don't want to play even if I get the account back. They go ban legitimate players while there's bots out there running 24/7 that haven't been caught.

 

Seriously this company is fucked up. Bad for you.

 

There's been a lot of complaining on rs forums about the mass bans going on. Wont be long before Jagex relizes what they done and hopefully makes an apology.

Yeah. Avoid mainstream things like Woodcutting, Picking Flax, Fishing, ect ect.

My friend got hit with a Ban and he was AFK Woodcutting!

I've been suicide botting in OldSchool on two accounts for weeks now. By suicide, I mean running DAYS at a time, no breaks. Not a peep out of Jagex. I've botted 2 years, multiple high-risk 99's and never been banned. Been muted too many damn times to count.

That's finesse my friends, and an UBER SHIT LOAD of LUCK.
