I suggest you move Bug Tracker/User Center

Swap Use Center/Bug Tracker with everything on the right side of the search bar.

A person is much more likely to look at something on the left side, and alerts/inbox are something I'd want to see at a heads up more often.

My observation as someone who hasn't used this site in a trillion years.

 

If everyone is much more likely to look at User Center/Bug tracker being on the left side (aka as it is right now? I think) then that should be a good thing. I mean isn't it?

 

No because the average user won't care about them 99% of the time they're looking up there.

 

Ok so you mean the side where Sonia Inbox and Alert is, is the side which people are more prone to look at, therefore having Bugtracker and User Center in that section would give those two a priority. Is that what you mean?

I think there can be a bad side or a good side to that, considering every website has the sign out etc to the far right of your screen, and everyone is use to that set up. Therefore there is ease when using the website. It would definitely be better for people to pay attention to User Center and Bugtracker I guess?

However, If it was changed the other way, I know people would complain and hate it. Due to not being used to it. Just like this share button/like button. It got changed around, because people got annoyed that they kept clicking share instead of like. (It was annoying me too)




Edit: I'm so damn confused. You prefer the head's up, Left Side of Search Bar, to be Name/Inbox/Alerts? So the left side is apparently more easier?

I don't agree with that simply because the far right side of it always has the sign/out and as the system is right now.. I'm sure multiple users are already used to that set up. I know I am. And as I said above, people will hate it being changed.

 

definitely prefer the upper right for alerts and notifications, waaay less annoying when you have dozens of them
