I sent BCH to a BTC address

    Hello everyone,

Here is a heads up about the bad customer service stakegp.com has and that they are not always legit. I have accidently sent them BCH to their BTC wallet and they could not claim the funds. Basically I was trying to help by contacting blockchain support in order to help them claim the funds. Pokole the owner of stakegp website did not cooperate in any of this. After blockchain contacted me back they said that the funds have been received and that he has to provide them with an xpub key from their wallet linked to the transaction. Pokole did not cooperate once again and closed and blocked the chat.

With your attitude, "scam" accusations, absolute disgusting feedback for something that you screwed over and now you expect me to waste time of mine to help you out? Its not how this world works, junior. I haven't received a single dollar from you.

Now its definitely a scam accusation because it is confirmed possible to claim the funds as blockchain support stated. Which means I was right all along guiding you to do this to claim funds.

This is clearly not a scam or @StakeGP.com's fault, so i'm going to change the title of this report. I'll need to add you both on Discord to create a group DM to see what can be done here.

Would either of you mind providing me the address these funds were sent to? @StakeGP.com @realtrader

I don't actually have a discord but I can make one.

As for address that funds where sent to: 1EagViXCZkEUi1uySjFQRK4GSZUPwY8Qbq (BTC Address)
They were received on: qz20s49duj0pjrhg6nhp4npc7ajxq9hw5s9acz0dq3 (BCH Address)

Blockchain support sent me the below email as seen in the image on imgur and they are requiring pokole's cooperation in order for him to claim his funds... This is why I am actually posting saying I was scammed as he can simply claim these funds without giving me the gp anytime he wants. He just does not want to cooperate.

I removed the link and will take down the reddit post. I am only trying to make things work both ways nothing more. I won the money back staking anyways, in the end I would only gain a bit more and you would gain your payment as you were supposed to @StakeGP.com @Pendulum

I've spoken with @StakeGP.com on Discord a bit ago, he let me know he sent a ticket to the Blockchain.com Support as requested. The Support team asked for the XPUB key which was to verify all transactions from the wallet it was sent to (I believe to verify if there was actually BCH sent to the BTC wallet).

From what I've read, you can import your BTC private key to a BCH supported wallet and you should be able to recover the funds. I asked @StakeGP.com if he could transfer his funds to a new secure wallet in the event that some unforeseen problems occur so that his balance would be safe

My recommendation would be to follow up with importing the private key and see if the funds can be retrieved, if they cannot, wait and see if Blockchain.com Support can assist you further

    Sorry for the unfortunate situation

According to Blockchain support they informed me that he is being assisted to recover the funds so they are actually recoverable... I will just need to know when he recovered them, because only he can send the funds back once he received them in his wallet. From that point its @StakeGP.com 's decision whether to return my funds back to me or not. :/

@StakeGP.com - Do you have any updates? I haven't heard from you at all. Support should have gotten back to you.

@StakeGP.com has gotten a response from the Blockchain support team and to receive the funds, BCH dust (very small amounts of BCH) will need to be sent to a series of addresses in the wallet to close the gaps. Once this is complete, the funds will be recognized by the wallet and you should be able to recover your lost BCH funds.

This wallet has had its BTC funds removed by my request and is now empty. The login details of the wallet will be sent to @realtrader along with the instructions provided by the Blockchain support so he will be able to go through the necessary steps to attempt to recover his funds.

Hopefully the funds can be recovered, this has been resolved
