No. We still have prices marked as things like $29.99.
If you pay using a card, then 29.99 is taken from you bank account/added to your credit card bill.
If you pay $30 cash, you get nothing back.

I wish it was that way in the US. I don't think I've used a penny to pay for something in years, I usually just throw them at people.

Well If you buy like 2999 stuff which price is 29.99 ea then you get 2999 penies so you can buy 1 more. That makes logical...

 

In the U.S, it costs the Treasury 2 cents for every 1 cent penny they make.

In US i have seen so many times when a person get 1-3 cents back on the way out of the store he throws it away into a garbage can...I rather seeing people loose 1-4 cents than seeing a person throw away their cents in a garbage can

ok sou rounding goes as follows

if you have from 1-2 cents it gets rounded down and YOU keep the "penny" if its 3-4 it gets rounded up to 5 and they keep it.

6-7 you get it... 8-9 they get it... easy

 

Yeh it works the same in the Netherlands we have Euro's they use to have 1 and 2 cents but they stopped using it because it was annoying or something now we are rounding it that way to its really easy.
