I don't know what to call this

Warning bragging will be involved. I beat pattern panic a rubik cube game in which you have to memorize color sequences. I memorized a sequence 25 times long and beat the game. I haven't played this in years and just felt like trying it. Then a despair came over me that it's pointless unless someone saw me. It made me realize I rely on other people for self assurance. I don't know why I'm posting this I just feel like telling somebody.

 

Fascinating.. Maybe add a link to the game or whatever so we can try it? Give us something to discuss dude...!

Rofl, congrats dude. I know exactly what game you're talking about, I just can't remember where I've played it. It's like these four colors, and they make you memorize the sequence. So, you start off with 1...then 2 more are added.....then a few more.... You have to basically memorize the order they come in.

I've played games similar to such and I always did well until the harder challenges.

 

I think there is a greater message about our human nature here. A lot of what we do is driven by our ego/self-image in the eyes of others, as much as people would like to deny it. A good example is that most guys workout to impress women, otherwise a large portion of men would give it up as it would be pointless because they can't show their bodies off to anyone.

Puzzle games like Rubiks cube always confused me. All Puzzle game confuse me, but I play them anyways, YE!

Guessing its that memory type game, where it flashes patterns, adding 1 each time. If so, most people cheat and write them down, but in your head they're actually quite difficult, I struggle to get past 10 :/

 

Personally I prefer logic puzzles over memorization but I suppose it's still valid.

 

Thanks guys for the replies. Also the game its a cube 6 sides so 6 colors you have to remember the sequence. Also now I can't even get past 15 . So I must of gotten lucky or something. I think I could of gotten higher than 25 idk why but the game ends at 25.@Stringcheese I do agree with you people usually are ego driven but they don't like to admit it.
