    what about kbot?

Also anyone saying about arbiter etc.

They said when it originaly closed that it will be made into a RSFanstyle site with a client at some point....

i wonder if the original forum names etc will work on there?

I understand. But if you look, it still says "Automation software ltd." And they're still trademarked under that. ;)

Yeah ofcourse it will be, they literally ust dropped RSbuddy all together as a bot software , pulled the sites forums etc and went to jagex. It takes time to edit everything and sort it all out :p

no one on earth will it be a bot again.
Also wsnt arbiter just a market/sales sort of person?

Jacmod was just the leader of rsbuddy, arbiter was the face. It's been around a year i'm pretty sure they would of fixed that by now if they weren't planning on bringing it back.
They didn't just literally just rsbuddy either, it took around 4-5 months until the forums went away. It was a fan site for quite a bit. Also arbiter had bots of his own, pretty good bots, i forgot the reason he joined rsbuddy. (His bot was called arbibots).

Jacmob was the lead coder wasnt he?
and arbiter was as youve said just a face, arbibots was run by multiple people who scripted etc.
and the site was fucked about with hyping up some updates etc and bot nukes n all that for 4~5 months and then dropped within quick succession of the bollucks when they went to jagex.
i remember after they "fled" that the forums just went into a mess of jacmob bashing threads and unmoderated trolling and abusiveness and then just disabled.

and with regards to them not sorting out the front face of "automation etc" they ust packed up and left it from what i can tell and moved onto better things , and im sure working for jagex and a potentially life changing oppurtunity like the job given and what happened there meant not much time to sort it out. but it was talked about that it would not be returning to botting but would be a fansite/tool such as a client with plugins sort of from waht i read.

arbiter is a scumbag scammer, i don't want to see him at rsbuddy if it does come back, but it's probably the fansite.

At Powerbot he was labeled a hacker and such and such. But he wasn't, the Powerbot staff just dumped the hacking's on him.

If it isn't a resurrection of what i think might be the best bot ever, then no one should even care tbh.

its a couple seperate things that could happen.

he could release the bot and flag any user who uses it to jagex as a sting operation.

    The fansite could be launching

    or the rs client.

If anyone took the time to calculate the end-time of the counter, it ends @ noon (12:00pm) Central Standard Time (GMT-6:00) October 25th... Which is the 1 year anniversary of the first Bot Nuke. So, perhaps it is a counter for the Optimus Bot Nuke. This would make sense because launching their second bot nuke on the anniversary of the first nuke would make it more popular and would be pretty cool imo. Jacmob could very easily be using his site as a way to advertise the whole thing.

So that timer ends @ 6pm for Jagex HQ. I would not be surprised if Jagex launched Optimus Bot Nuke then.

Just because jacmob left and now works for jagex, doesn't mean all the other coders for rsbuddy left with him, they're still here, and i bet with the right amount of "Talking" And Money, they could of bought rsbuddy.

This would be clever and extremely obnoxious, Trent may have a point here. Not to mention the trademark is 2012 so could this be a completely new copyright? Also, why wouldn't Jacmob surrender his former domain name to Jagex. They're notorious for collecting domain names after taking initiative to stop them e.g. www.runescapetrades.com.

No. You really should read the RS news better and more often.

Botany Bay & BotWatch are NOT the nuke. They are simply a way of detecting and banning bots.

Optimus Bot Nuke has not been released yet. It was first to be launched near the end of September but Jagex's mistake that banned 40,000 accounts made them push it back and slow down. The Optimus Bot Nuke is supposed to be just like the first nuke, however it will not drastically affect game performance like the Clusterflutterer did and will supposedly break 98% of bots, just like last time.

Also, a thought I just had:

Jagex said before no more BXP weekends.... but they now are changing their minds. It starts on October 27th... just 2 days after October 25th, the 1 year anniversary of the first Bot Nuke, and 2 days after RSBuddy's countdown timer reaches 0. What if Jagex is planning to launch the Bot Nuke on Oct 25th, on the anniversary, AND the same week that they have a BXP planned. This means that they will be breaking 98% of bots immediately before the BXP weekend starts. Basically the only ones who will be partaking in this BXP then will be legit players, and users of color bots, OpenGL bots (most likely), and possibly DynaMac's reflection bot.

Overall it would be a very very well-timed and planned update. A Bot Nuke right before a BXP weekend would bring exactly the kind of publicity and reaction they would love. My theory is just a theory, however it is very probable, and it would make sense if it were true.
