Buying gold always comes with risk. Theres no any way to guarantee you absolute risk free trade, you are knowingly breaking the game rules so you take risk for it.

 

Use alts, rest the gold for weeks before trading over. Although the chances are already very low of them banning you, but they WILL delete the gold if you don't spend it.

 

PVP, Tip Jar, not trading a butt naked lvl 3 in Lumby on f2p world.

 

Apparently those can be traced too, but presumably it's less likely? Or less likely to be proven and banned. Someone with more experience can weigh in. Gold sellers claim trading is the safest, but it could be because they don't want to spend all this time doing elaborate things to move inventory.

In short: Buy osrs items instead of OSRS Gold, use high combat level accounts to do the trade (both the seller and buyer), trade in member worlds, trade at grand-exchange, trade on the device and IP address you normally play on.

 

the source of the gold id usually the biggest cause of a ban, if you are seeking gold from a level 3 in a f2p world, that also probably moves billions daily, it's obvious you will get caught up in the mess, it's best to require the seller only trades you from high level accounts, and ideally buy the gold on a aged alt account and let it rest for as long as possible before trading it over, ideally a few months. For reference, I once had a RWT buying ban that came to me 3 months after i had last bought gold...

 

just trade normally, you should be good as long as your not moving bills each day.
