    How to Scam Gold Farmers

    Hey, Sythe. I'm an ex-member from around 2006(?) if I remember rightly, but have since forgotten my account details. I recently came back to Runescape and bought some gold from some gold farmers who scammed me. Since I've set out to ruin their business.

    I found a way that works fairly well, not 100% but none-the-less its free gold so I'm not going to complain. I figured I'd share it here as I have no use for the gold, I'm just trying to shut down the farmer's businesses.

    So on with the guide;
    To do this you’ll need to find a chat-based gold seller, this can be either through a live chat on their site, AIM, Msn, etc. An example of one which I know works great is [email protected] (Who operate via Msn) If you don’t trust that email simply find your own, but whatever happens, make sure they don’t take orders via the site.

    Now, message the gold farmer with something like this -
    “Hi I recently purchased 10M gold from your company but there was a misunderstanding which led to me not getting my gold. This was about 4 months ago and I’ve been told that all records of my order have since been lost.

    I know you aren’t supposed to but a staff member titled Karen told me she would make an exception for me and allow me to get a my gold providing that I got confirmation from another staff member. Is it possible for you to do so?”

    Like I said already, if you don't trust the MSN I posted simply don't use that one.
