How to qualify for a cannabis card?

Just wondering if anyone here knows what qualities/disorders you need to get a cannabis card to smoke and grow medical marijuana. What states offer medical marijuana as a treatment? What is the age limit for this prescription? Personal experiences/opinions?

I know places like california do. You can get a card for practically any reason. Back pains, insomnia (which I have, but I'm not in cali =/), bipolar disorder, arthritis, cancer, and simple stuff you wouldn't expect. I figure you have to be 18 to qualify (a guess).

 

I read this article about a 8 year old kid with a MMJ card for autism in Rhode Island.

You can get it for just about anything, seizures, insomnia, cancer, glaucoma, arthritis. Pretty much any chronic illness. I mean I have heard of people getting it for asthma.

Because not everyone is from the same country as you, believe it or not.

 

Its legal in some countries, believe it or not.

 

I never stated it was illegal everywhere.
The Netherlands is a prime example of legal cannabis.

 

Which just shows how much of a joke the medical marijuana Industry Is.

It isn't legal, it is tolerated. It is a myth that cannabis is completely legal in the Netherlands.

I just found out if you have MMC in cali you can use it in British Columbia(Canada). I don't know if thats true but sounds interesting.

 

From what I hear they're pretty tolerant of medical marijuana in Canada. Legality wise, I don't know though.

 

In California practically anyone can get if they go to the doctor. In some other states it's legal, but only for people with serious conditions like AIDS or Cancer.
