Dale Carnegie's book is the shit. It's just like, so amazing. This is one of the simplest parts of the book and learning to socialize with people, but.. still thank you for posting.

 

Rawfl? Selfish because I have the common sense and ability to make a fucking friend? How am I being selfish at all? And I agreed because everything I read in that guide is common sense to me. Maybe not to other people, but if you don't stay shut away in your basement without a social life, then you should know. Unless, hence my agreement, you're retarded.

Honestly, this works, but only for smalltalk. You actually have to 'click' or share common interests in order to hold out a decent conversation. Otherwise the relationship between whoever is a sham. There's listening to people, then relying on just their interests to talk about.

This guide really depends on how patient you are and if you are willing to actually put effort towards it. It may seem simple and obvious but a lot of people out there have the head up their ass and really fail with this technique. Good guide for some though.

 

That is possibly the best piece of advice, really works. Even on my mother. Sure beats the good ol' "Hey. Good day?" "Yep." Sort of conversation that usually takes part in my household.

To be entirely honest, this is all common sense. You're repeating yourself over and over again. "Selflessness, think about someone else". Yeah, guess what? That's common sense. If someone needed to use this guide to be successful in everyday situations, they have serious social and mental problems.



Besides that, the format wasn't very good, and the grammar could use a touch up. I dont sugar coat it.

 

Sorry but to common sense please either explain more or choose a better subject on which to write a guide on.

 

Yes this technique is common sense and easy to do. Whoever said its common sense I doubt has ever tried talking to someone and actually thinking about the other person for a moment. You

You may know the technique but I'll tell you what is not common sense, the rewards of using the technique:

You'll have more interesting conversations and more friends. People will like you people will go out of there way to help you. You will be more popular. Your parents will respect and trust you more. And yes darkbow it does work on girls.

Maybe not as a pickupline but if you regulary ask questions about them and you actually care about what they have to say rather than just looking at their sex appeal, you will find that girls will actually talk to you!Infact thats how I got the girlfriend I have now.
