Alright, I am a pretty avid lifter. I am only 19 years old and I am an extremely above average and experienced lifter. I have been doing it for the last 6 years of my life very seriously. I have tried 4 days of lifting and ive tried 6 days a week. Personally, I feel better-lifting 4-5. I do not have set days i go though. If i feel tired I just won't go that day. I will always get 4-5 days in. When I go 3-4 days in a row my body feels awful it even looks worse than usual. But I have a friend who can lift 14 days in a row no problem. So if you are one of these people let me know what's up. AND before the douchebag posts saying your only 19 you dont know shit and your probably not even big and know what your talking about bullshit. I NEVER claimed to be an expert. I learn something new every time I step in the gym. AND I will post my stats/pics/videos if you wanna hate. Lets hear your all your thoughts though :).

Currently, 7 days. Was hitting the weights hard, but between full-time school and work it either gets too late or it's just not worth it to me.

I take 3 days a week rest but i do a small amount of exercise at home when i dont go to the gym. Dont train the same muscles every day btw.

Get 1 day off. I go to the gym everyday and give tuesdays off and I also have hockey/football on days aside from tuesday so quite busy

Posted earlier 7 days off. Now it's 0 days off. If I take breaks I lose motivation to go. So yeah, rest days would be good, but it would mean that I take any number of rest days.

Just the Saturday and Sunday are my off days. Spend time with friends, the misses etc. Then gym during the week. Not sure if that's the best way to go but it work's for me :)

Someone who is serious about getting into good shape should take two days off per week. You dont grow and gain muscle in the gym, you gain it when you're asleep and resting! Be sure to never over do it and grind in the kitchen. (abs are made in the kitchen)
