How effective should skilling services be?

I'm rather new when it comes to buying skilling services.
I enjoy playing the game, however like many others I simply do not have the time to sit at home skilling my character to effectively max it out, especially when working two different jobs leaving me without even a single weekend of a break.

I've purchased two skilling services so far, the sellers have both been extremely polite, proven themselves trustworthy members of the community. However what is not justified when purchasing skilling services is the rate at which the service should be delivered.

It would be a fair assumption that those offering skilling services have their own lifestyle with it's attached commitments, and are not robots. I specifically ordered a service which was advertised as "NO BOTS".

Overall I'm happy purchasing skilling services, however I can't clear up in my own head or justify an acceptable rate of such service being delivered..

Just ask them for a timeframe for completion, and compare it to other users who offer skilling services, and see if they are able to beat them for the same price.

You pay less than 2$ an hour. More like 1$ an hour. And I know why this was posted too. For 1$ an hour, your laughing all the way to the bank. I almost can't believe this was even posted.

    Woah nelly?
I pay exactly what I'm quoted for a service as long as it's not ludicrously high priced. By posting this I'm not attacking any individual service, and you already know that if I have a complaint I will complain directly towards the person.

I'm simply highlighting the grounds that there are no set guidelines as to how the services are offered or how they should be processed. For example, when a user requests a service, instead of just receiving a direct quote, maybe he could receive a start date for his service and an approximate ETA instead of just the quote for the money? Of course at the moment it's down to the user to ask these questions, and down to the seller to answer them.

Just for arguments sake, the service I've ordered from you I've no complaints since I last contacted you, however due to certain factors, depending on who the customer is and why he is buying the service, might have a complaint.
IE- I'm busy with my two jobs and will be for time to come, so I'm not greatly phased by delays. A customer who needs skilling done at precisely the ETA because he's only away for a short term, or just wants someone else to complete the skill and would like their account back ASAP will be phased by such delays.

The problem is that in my experience: Not enough *CORRECT* information has been passed between either parties when ordering skilling services as a customer.

Obviously if you're ordering from someone it is important to come up with a set timeframe for completion. Usually I mention that it has to be done within x reasonable time or it'll be a full refund. But yeah, the person above has a good point - the people doing skilling by hand are working for near chinese wages, you can't expect them to treat it like a full time job.

Yeah, I tend to give people an expected timeframe when giving a quote. For example, 200k tokens might take 3 days if you're level 85 dg (more like a week if level 1). I normally overestimate by about 10% in case something unforeseeable comes up or I underestimate how long something is going to take.

If you're looking for a new rule or something stating that "All orders have to be completed within the agree-upon period of time or someone gets banned," that's not going to happen. If I happen to be late on an order, I'll either give the guy a bit of cash or tell him to wait a bit. If it theoretically were to become an unreasonably long wait, a larger refund could be in order. Communication is key. If you have other questions feel free to pm/skype me.

Bro you are paying $1-$2 an hour when they work. If you want a rush order done then offer to pay more.

Come up with timeframe, but people who do services, aren't necessarily doing it for the gold, but none the less, enjoy doing it, and getting paid for it?
