How do YOU stake?

When we make trips to the DA on RS, we all share one mutual goal - make money.

But the way we do so differs from person to person. I'm curious of the methods you guys use at the DA.

As for me, I start very low. I'm talking 5-10m stakes, to get the ball rolling. I'm far too lazy to double up after every loss, and usually just call whichever duel call out to me at the time. TBH this is an awful method as I always tend to lose a lot of money before I profit a small amount.

There's no tactic that gives you an edge over your opponent. If you're the same stats as your opponent it's always a 50/50 chance of winning, regardless of how many losses you had before that stake.

That being said, I would probably still double after losing just because it feels like the right thing to do, even though I know it's fallacy.

 

In a purely random scenario, this is correct, but things like PID & other such hidden mechanics often makes you the loser to someone of equal stats if you enter the duel arena as an amateur.

Also watch out for movement on if you're looking for 50/50 @OP.

My method is very simple. Lose once, double up. Lost that? Quadruple up. Lose that too? Dunworry, next one is guaranteed win right?...right. All in

It's sad but think about it, most of the people who come to the arena rarely usually have this type mindset.

 

This guy describes my method pretty accurately, but I once lost 16 times in a row doubling up from very very low.
