Don't you know that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has made over 250 doomsday prophecies since the 1930's, and all of them (obviously) turned out to be flukes. Gee, you must be incredibly naive (or just plain stupid) to still put your faith to them. Please, for your own sake, review the probability of your particular religion's self-proclaimed Indisputable Truth before calling others idiots.

Also, the cavemen whom invented the wheels has nothing to do with the origin of life itself. The most probable theory is that the first single-celled organisms came by by stardust from a supernova landing on our fertile planet; which is quite hospitable to sustain life.

as for Abiogenesis / divine intervention- i dont know, nor do i care, all i do know is that life evolved and wasnt created in an instant, and personally i dont really care where the first living cell came from

This sub forum needs some originality. Everyone just posts relevant threads over and over. We will never know. And every time two sides flare and the Religion vs. Truth argument springs up. Why should I care how life started? Humans were quite obviously products of evolution, but if the universe never existed, how could a big bang happen? Something would have to exist to combust. So the question is just a circle; a dead end. Asking questions that have no answer is not very interesting after a couple of thousand others have already made identical threads.

And that is a question with no answer. If you explain away creation with "God did it" questions like Why? (Because he was bored?) pring up, and then questions like "Where did God come from?" For all we know, we could be an atom in a giants table, and they could be discussing how they were created. Its just pointless.

 

I'm not sure who "Jehova" is, but I do now who jehovah is, and the face that you're calling us idiots.. when you can't spell his name..Seems abit stupid to me. I myself am Agnostic, and I don't think you're retarded for having your blind faith. So, do me a fav. and shut the fuck up =D

I personally am a Christian and believe God created the world and the universe in 6 days and on the 7th day rested. Where would the matter come from? No particles could be just always "there." There's always a creator to something, except there isn't a creator to the creator. God has always been and will always be. From the day of the Heavens and the Earth was formed, until the day of Armageddon. If you have a positive argument, I'd like it to be shared with me. Please don't flame my personal beliefs.

I personally can't say I'm a believer in evolution. Darwin evolution theory started off by him visiting the Galapagose Islands. He found a bird with a screwed up beak and jumped to assumption. I just personally think the public school system has corrupted and taught the wrong things to minors ever since 1960s - Present day. I'm not trying to force you into a religion, yet trying to help you and save you by ministering my beliefs. I hope it can benefit you. I do sound like a hypocrite, but I ASSURE YOU I AM NOT RIPPING ON YOUR BELIEFS. I AM TRYING TO DEBATE WITH THEM.

People who doubt the Bible say "Why would God have made man if he hates sin." Well I have a perfect explanation. God is perfect in every way, shape, and form. God wanted a relationship with man, and it wasn't God's will for man to fall short of his love. It was God's will for man to come to him and repent, and be saved from himself. God gave us all a choice, to take the ways of sin or the solution to follow him and go to Heaven. The wages of sin is death, and that's what it'll be after the rapture. Death and corruption everywhere. The world will have fallen deeper into the hell it is now. God let man sin because a non sinner would be perfect, yet in that basically creating another god. I was raised on the Bible, yet I do have doubts sometimes. But, I always find a way to prove it's true. The Bible is so easy to figure and use for your own wisdom giving God credit for what He's done. I've always wondered... If you're an atheist or an agnostic, why not turn to God? You have nothing to lose, yet everything to gain.
