How do recovery tests work and why are they used?

    How do recovery tests work and why are they used?

    i'm selling my account to someone and i cannot remove recoverries, will a recovery test help in any way?

    Yes, when you recover the account you should be able to set new ones.

    Recovery test is used to prove you are providing the correct information on the account. The middleman will do the test. If the account can be recovered with the information you provide the test is complete.

    This is how a recovery test works:

    You give all the information to the middleman.
    The middleman attempts to recover your account as a stolen account.
    If the middleman's attempt to recover was successful, the trade will go on. If not, the trade will stop right there. (and the middle man will return the account of course)

    when you recover an account now the old recovery questions still stay on it.
