How do I not get Scammed?

I am trying to start a Runescape Gold Service. I have been playing Runescape since I was a little boy. Now that I am older I am trying to get more involved in the sythe community. I have a well paying full time job and would like to try to collect extra income on the side selling gold to the community.
What is the safest way to sell RSGP.

Can you guys give me the run down on what not to do when it comes to selling rsgp to people?
I am trying to figure out how to get around the system without getting scammed.

Questions:
What form of payment is safest?

 

I think cryptos are the way to go atm, not 100% sure since im not a gold seller myself (for now atleast) but thats what I have heard

Accepting cryptos only is probably the safest

For bitcoin, make sure its at 2/6 confirmations for maxiumum safety.

Also, use an MM if requested, there are plenty of OMMs / MMs that can middleman for free MiddleMan Forums

 

Use Crypto currencies. Never paypal because of the ease in chargebacks. As you'll notice, almost no gold merchants here use paypal to conduct their trades unless their client is a very trusted sythe user.

Also, check the discord unique ids of the person you're trading with on discord and get a proper sythe pm. Always. Discord is so badly maintained and such a shitty platform that imposters are able to to rip off the entire Discord user id and imposter-scam. It's gotten as bad as skype now tbh.

Lastly, make sure to inckude your discord unique ID in every conversation you have with customers/sellers.

Tldr: just read the numerous trading stickies.

 

Don't use Paypal with new Sythe users

 

Try to not use paypal with non trusted users.

 

- Start out by only accepting non-recoverable (can not charge back) payment methods such as crypto currency

- Use middlemen or official middlemen for trades where the buyer is unwilling to provide funds first. Agree on the middleman and then ARRANGE IT YOURSELF to absolutely cut down on any chance of imposter (although you should always follow safe practice like getting PM's on Sythe, etc.)

- Even if the buyer seems laid back, go through the proper procedures with Sythe PM's to confirm you're trading with the right person, etc. This not only covers you but it also shows your professionalism
