How did you join Sythe?

I had heard about sythe long before I joined, as I didnt know how useful the site could be! I only joined when I decided I'd like to start being paid for quests (so Im currently doing quests for free to earn vouches).

 

I was searching for a place to sell graphics and the internet brought me here =P
However I remember visiting sythe one or two times years ago back when it was just like a runescape thing.

 

Yeah It is the same for me, I knew about it in 2006-2007 but I just recently started using an account.

 

My friend in school told me about sythe (RSmarket) and when I came home, I immidiatley registered.

 

I clicked "Register".

 

First found out about it due to Covey's old RS client, "Eliteswitch"

I joined the old irc.sythe.org irc server, and began meeting the other eliteswitch users, many of whom, were sythe users. From there I began making friends with Govind, Giverny, Finn, Darcy, Clash, just to name a few. From there, I registered on sythe and opened my skilling/mming/questing service to get my name out. Giverny even happened to be one of my very first customers way back in the day.

 

Heard there were some good activities involving trades!

I actually dont even remember lmao, it was long ago but i think it was someone on runescape that mentioned a runescape forum so I joined it Rarely used the market though, mainly posted in the runescape section

 

I remember I was trying to buy a runescape pure back way in the day, and ever since I've owned this account.

I googled buying runescape gold and found this site .

Also got scammed on my first like 5 trades... bought so many accounts that got recovered.

 

nothing has changed. only you have become more wise to the sea of scammers.

 

IRL friend told me about it.

 

Entered my info on a registration form, pressed accept, and got an email. But I'm pretty sure I like was looking to buy runescape stuff back when I played and found sythe.

 

Actually, the first time I ever heard about sythe, wan through runescape. A friend of mine told me to check it out. Since then, I have bought gold, accounts, and services, and am very glad I listened to him.

 

My best friend IRL told me about it.

 

I was looking for the best place to sell my account.

 

I'm not too sure, it was either from a RSPS (such as Dodian) or from looking for a bot (such as Sythe's Autominer).

However every time I tried registering an account, I always got a 404 page error or something similar happened which didn't allow me to register.

Finally on some day in April 2011, I decided to try registering again.

To my actual disbelief, it allowed me to finally register haha.

I honestly was pretty happy about it.

 

I started out at RSBotting and I guess I just saw someone mention it. I checked it out and noticed how much better the market was, so I joined.

 

I started out at TTG. There, people mentioned sythe a lot.
TTG died, so I had to resort to sythe.
