Have you ever considered the corollary?
That is; it is the physiological change from the norm to homosexuality which stimulates differences in hormonal production which can cause physical anomalies? Scientifically, this theory would have more grounds.

This is my opinion:

I accept that If you are born into a family which has numerous gay members eg. uncles, brothers. Then you will more likely be gay.

This is a silly argument.

Back in the day:
When you were born into a mafia family, guess what chances are you'd be a mob leader or at least have an involvement in the mob.



I do accept the premise that maybe 10-20% of homosexuality may be genetic.
But most of it is the way we are brought up, our influence, Nature vs Nurture.

For people to blame their homosexuality on the small percentage of genetics being a contributory factor, I find it ridiculous.

all babies born of parents with blue eyes and blonde hair do not share these traits, but a large percentage do. a larger percentage than there would be had the blue eyes and blonde hair occurred by chance.
as you would expect if these traits had a genetic basis.

homosexuality has little genetic basis. there is a weak correlation at best between homosexuality and genes.


also, if a LESBIAN woman and a GAY man had a baby, both sides of its chromosomes would have genes from a homosexual parent. therefore, if homosexuality was genetic, all babies born from a lesbian woman and a gay man would turn out homosexual regardless of external factors.

and a person with 1 gay parent would have half "gay genes"
so they would, if homosexuality has a genetic basis, have 50% of being homosexual. no evidence finds homosexuality rates anywhere near this rate.

Your argument is invalid, OP. There are ways to rationalize everything and there is a conspiracy for everything. Your statement that homosexuality can be compared to genocide is exactly like saying Hurricane Katrina is George Bush's fault. No matter how much you say it there is too much opposition to it. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. This is a completely unbiased opinion. I believe people will do what they want to do and it's their own choice. No one goes around telling you how to live your life. We are not socialist for a reason.

I sense ignorance. Homosexuality aren't people who would only like to mate with the same gender. Homosexuals are people who are aroused, and attracted to the same gender. No sexual intercourse is needed. Just because what you consider "normal reproduction" cannot occur with homosexuals, doesn't make them a destruction to humanity, nor society. If you're classifying homosexuality with genocide, then you sir.... Are a hopeless, psycho. Genocide is a mass killing of one ethnic, racial, religious, national group. I don't see how Homosexuality isn't one's conscious choice. If they find themselves aroused by somebody of their own gender, they cannot help it. So implying self-genocide is just idiotic beyond belief. I hope one day you steer yourself into a straight path, instead of a path that leads to the thinking of a mass genocidal murder like Adolf.
 
The world is over populated. If a few thousand people went gay I wouldn't mind.
Its not a crime against humanity but a crime against science. All life forms on this planet have one single goal in mind and that is to reproduce.

Humans are no basic life form and have a consciousness and are capable of rational thought so who we chose to do what with is our own personal business.

You make it seem like were pigs in heat constantly needing to fuck to bring more unwanted children to this over populated world.

Everyone has the right to express themselves, may that be in their sexuality, their musical tastes, or anything really. If two gay people are in love, good for them, IMO I dont see anything wrong with it. Look at all the people in the world, all 6 or 7 billion of us. Gay people are going to be in the minority for a while, so what the first poster said about genocide is an uneducated statement. Nothing wrong with being gay IMO.
 
People that are either gay or homosexual has nothing to do with being different, everyone has it's own taste/prefferations and are and should be respected and treated like anyone else, I mean, I have a gay friend and when we're together we simply laugh our butts of at nearly anything, I've experienced that gay people can be very soft and very trustable which most normal people aren't, as I dislike people being damn bitchy and pretend they're everything they can even possibly be..!
