I don't know to be honest, I would think that because of the bible, and since most of the world is religious then people would think it isn't what marriage means, marriage is said to be a sacred union between a man and a woman for the purpose of procreation. However, Shredderbeam is a smarty and brought up a good point, that homosexuality has been around forever. The Greeks had "Tutors" that was a man, and the MEN slept with them. To be honest, I'm homophobic, and I doubt that will change, this is probably my reason for not wanting this. Maybe (Probably) I am ignorant, but that's really something I can't help, I can't ever believe that homosexuality is right.

You would deny them rights on a feeling you have? This is cruel and unloving behavior on your part.

But would he not have control over his behavior? A Homosexual is born with the want to be loved by the same sex. This is no different with a Homophobic.

He would have control, but why must a homosexual control their behavior where a normal person does not have to?

My argument is that if you wish to denounce everyone who disagrees with you out of a universal law, it must be backed up and accepted by both parties, not simply thrown out as a matter of absolutes. If you honestly can't say why we should accept homosexuality, you're as bad as Jesse.
Why should he have to control his anti-gay behaviour, if they do not have to control their pro-gay behaviour, under your system?

What are you talking about? I am merely stating my opinion, I can't legally deny them I just said I am a homophobic.

No-one ever said they should, just that there are consequences, and not even too big, there are many states/cities that allow you to marry if you are homosexual, and NO I cannot control being a homophobic. If I have to, so do they.

Why would you have this illogical opinion? I do not see any reason to.

You can control what you feel.

Then why are gays, gay? They should control their feeling for men/women.

You generally avoid committing to anything in your arguments, Shredder, so clearly you haven't. But, under a system of enforced tolerance, why should it only be anti-homosexual elements which are limited?

I did not say this. You may be this if you want.

Shredder? Is this some form of insult?

I do not say that anti-homosexual should be limited. They can do as they wish.

Then why don't they? Why should the rest of the world (Which is much much much much much much much, more than the gay population) change their feelings? I am not meaning to disgust someone, but I highly doubt a nude women will NOT give a gay man an erection.. Nor a nude man turn a woman on.

So than this whole thread is pointless, no one needs to change their feelings. Homophobics stay Homophobes and Homosexuals stay Homosexuals, that way we can all live in conflict..
