hmm paypal what do i do?

Ok, so the story goes like this. My paypal was just a personal paypal, I never really did much gold selling as in a shop, just sold in bulk. Apparently i have had my limit (£1700) in my paypal in a year though, and so i hit the limits. this is where i am not sure. It said to resolve, so when i clicked on that i got 3 options, 1) personal account, 2) sole trader and 3) another type of business e.g partnership/plc. This is where I am confused, underneath that there was tick to ensure this is true etc.

Anyway, i tried personal because its the truth, I dont exactly run a business and have only done one off gold selling... nothing

For some reason i still have exactly the same thing, i guess the limits are 1700 quid for personal users, but i reckon something is wrong because my dad has just bought a bike for £1500 through pp, and he has at least 1k going through his pp a month, but he doesnt have a business account

On top of that, I then tried sole trader. Still nothing, however the message has gone, but i still have the same limits.

Havent tried business as it's not true.

Anyway, what should i do. I was thinking about making another account, but isnt that against their tos, and i would rather not lose a lot of money tbh

Call paypal and ask them to help you.

 

As mentioned, call PayPal. A friend of mine had the same issue and he couldn't access his funds for 6 months :/

 

As the above users stated, call Paypal. From my experience their customer service is pretty decent for legitimate problems such as this one.

 

For me it looks that you are not verified.Have you confirmed your ID/adress?I had my paypal account limited for 4 months, before i finally got verified.As for choosing type of paypal, i would suggest going with personal, if you are not running any business.

 

yes its verified, and i have my bank connected. I will call paypal at some time cheers

 

Is all the information on your PP legitimate, I know of some people that got limited although everything was verified for using fake information.

 

yes, everything is 100% legit... and there has been only legit use on there

 

Selling in bulk is a business. A personal account is meant for buying physical gifts online or receiving money for soccer orders. I'm guessing by sole trade ryou're referring to sole proprietor - you'll want to select that. That means you're the only owner of the "business" (and in the US for tax purposes no changes, but I can't speak for the UK). I hope this helps.
