Unrealistic. The forum would lead to very few actual trades. There wouldn't be enough popularity.

Everyone's saying, "I can't wait!", but the majority of people don't have the GP, rares, willingness to bet, or pure accounts.

    Amazing idea. I completely support!

    BRING BACK STAKING!

This would bring so much more traffic into sythe. It would completely revamp the duel arena on RS if this works out properly.

    Picture.

And both of stakers would stake a specifical item, ex. willow logs, so it cannot be edited so easily.

Simply put, the item is worth more then the cash its self, so the middleman would buy the rares for the cash value from each player, which is less then the market value, then the middle man would have the 2 masks and the players would have cash.

If we´re getting this, would be betting on a player be possible aswel? For example: Player 1 vs Player 2 are fighting, both are staking aswel. Can I put money on Player 1 to guess he'd win? If I loose the one who has made a bet on Player 2 gets my money? Or would this just get way to complicated/abused/manipulated?

Just street price. So basically you can sell the red mask for $25 here..

Well, as a a few others posted before me, the market price is a lot greater then the Grand Exchange price, since the item is being inflated. So if you were going to sell the item on the street, not the grand exchange, the item would sell for around 225m instead of 158m the grand exchange price. ( Just an estimate, not actual street numbers). This is possible by using junk.

Some items you cannot buy in the grand exchange, due to a low supply and a high demand. Ex: h'ween masks, partyhats, pumpkins, disks and other discontinued items or very hard to obtain items such as Ely or Divine shields. The middle man would buy the items for trade price, meaning the normal price of the item, hold the items and give them to the winner. Because the items are hard to obtain, they have "street" value, which means they are theoretically worth more then their actual trade price. So the winner would gain items with "street value" which could be sold for usd or used in game. On a side note, i do have an account which i could middle man trades with which has about a billion gp.
