Hey guys why do people charge fees for donating?

Hey guys, so i recently donated to sythe only to find out people were charging considerable amounts on top the initial donation. It took me a week to get hold of someone so i could donate without a fee.

As a users perspective i was getting the feeling why should i donate if there is no one even on to take donation i was just going to ignore the fact till i finally got hold of 'video'. I know people are busy this time of year and not many people are free, but there should be a different system in place so people actually can donate at anytime.

 

You can donate directly Via PayPal. Any other payment method would be difficult to make instant. But check out the PayPal direct, it's super easy and it registers imidiatly. GL

 

Not everyone has the option for PayPal direct. You have to be a member of the site + a previous donor to have the option show up I believe.

 

If that's the case than PayPal direct should be open to everyone not just past donors. I understand what he's saying but it's not like you can have a direct 07 gold donation, as someone can't be available 24/7. Same goes for a lot of the other payments it takes actions from not only the person sending the payment but also the one receiving it. I don't see any other method being practical.

Welcome to Sythe. People are super willing to help you so they can get ranks.

Then you have to pay them astronomical amounts of money to do anything.

 

Because it's a service. People are warranted to charge a fee for their time to process donations on Sythe's behalf.

 

It's a service you're forced to use unless you have already donated $25.

 

There was no way to donate directly via paypal, spent a week trying to get hold of someone to donate without a fee. Surely a website should allow people to donate with bitcoin or other safe payment methods. A community of this size surely its hindered many people from donating to sythe.

Yeah i understand that, but why is there no option to donate to sythe instead of using bond holders. Surely bitcoin or buying sythe gold of some sort to purchase the donator would be a safe way around chargebacks.

You can donate directly after having previously donated Sythe. It's not a big deal.
