*HELP PLZ* Will not let me log in

So guy's

I was logged on my account and all of a sudden i dced

I Tried to log in says wrong username/password

I request a new password and in the e-mail where it usually say's your characters name mine now say's -Hi Character Name Unavailable,

i clicked on the link to change password and put in my old password which when i try to log in says wrong/username password and it says

This password is the same as your current one. Please choose a different, new password.


so basically i got logged out my username on runescape got deleted my password is correct according to my e-mail and trying to change password but when i actually try to log in nothing happens.

Anyone got any ideas i have tried to get a response from e-mail and contacting fagex but they never reply to me

 

It may take them a day or two to get back to you. Luckily it's only Monday, so they should get back to you sooner or later. All I could think of would be typing it in wrong. Have you tried setting it to a new password all together? Maybe that would work

 

I think that might mean that your account is banned, judging from similar stories I've heard

 

ddi you by any chance bot mate? this happened to my friend while playing in the library(He wasn't botting) but as soon as he got home, he checked and saw that he was banned for botting but he botted about a week before the ban was issued. Then again this was 2009

 

I think it would straight out say you got banned, character name unavailable could mean someone hacked it and changed it to something inappropriate and got it removed.

 

not botted and ive waited days and weeks for a reply from jagex

also wont even let me log into the homepage to see my ban meter etc every place i try log in say's invalid username/password

 

try logging into to 07 see what is says.

 

I've tried logging into eoc, 07, homepage of both site's say's same

Bought no gold, also if it was a ban would it not let me log onto the main homepage to see my ban meter in account settings...

 

you said that you contacted them does this include tweeting because they usually respond/respond faster on twitter.

 

I've heard of accounts being deleted this way when they are banned, but i've also seen on twitter where this has been reported and jmods have reinstated accounts.

So it's either banned for gold farming or a mistake. Try messaging on twitter if possible.

 

Hm, that's really strange. It wouldn't let you log into the home page if your account was deleted. The two are one in the same, no? Sounds like something fucked up with the e-mail/registered username.

Same thing happened to me. I requested an e-mail change through recovery and the J. Mod that responded said everything was good to go. Only problem is the e-mail wasn't working for some reason (e-mail log-in). Had to submit another appeal to have it changed to the correct e-mail because the J. Mod that handled my appeal accidentally screwed up. Although you're using a username log-in, it sounds like it could be a similar issue, but I don't see how.

Contact some J. Mods on Twitter. Jagex has a customer/community support Twitter and they're pretty good about responding to people. Sometimes honest mistakes do happen. This sounds like it to be some sort of honest mistake (hopefully...).

Email jagex support. They usually replied to me within a day
