[Help] About Securing RS Account [Help]

so i haven't played rs in a long time and was thinking about buying a rs account,
the thing is what's stop someone taking the account back and is there anyway of stopping that?

any securing a rs account after buying tips/guides


if there's already a post please post link and delete my thread please as ive already search and i couldn't seem to find one.

use an OMM at all times.

 

ok but what does the omm do to make the account secure ? like if i set recoverys , email , surely that cant stop oo taking the account back after ive paid ?

 

The OMM makes sure that you don't get scammed, make sure that the person has ALL the info when buying.

 

kk its just i did a deal b4 fort i had all info and he got it back some how so your saying if i use omm im basicly secure ?

 

OMM is used to make the payment secure, not the account
Any account can be recovered by its original owner, so if you dont know what you re doing, dont buy accounts online. just bot yours

 

There is no "secure" way to protect your account when buying.
Seller always can recover the account he sold.

Trade with somebody trusted, and hope they provide all the correct information they know. If they don't, set recoveries, make it P2P through CC, link an email, and hope for the best.

 

Yea you should basically look for someone that's sold accounts in the past without having problems and been accused of scamming, then hope for the best.

 

The original owner can always recover the character btw.

He has ALL the info you have. And he are on the same Ip the character was played most from, and created from.

Abide by the OMM's rules, and try to use one.

 

I bought a pure off a person with 1.2k posts and 37 vouches, and got scammed for $50 and she gets banned the next day.

I'd say just get something not to great to start off with, because if the account is good, most of the time it will just get recovered.

Try getting something with like 1400 total and work from there.
