Oh yeah, because taste based on appearance is definitely unbiased. Metalcore isn't just hardcore emo, there's a nuance of thrash which is a big influence on the genre. Also, I would never go to a Dragonforce concert, because listening to a man who sounds like he's lost his balls is the most unappealing sound my ears have ever heard.

Oh, what a coherent use of the most retarded metaphor I've ever read. Stage presence has nothing to do with the music, you don't listen with your fucking eyes, you obviously can't comprehend what music is.

Not saying I actually listen to it, I'm just defending the genre which I see you really have little knowledge about.

Oh OK, I'll go read every single one of your posts, because that is definitely "logical" just to confirm how much of a cynic asshole you are, then I'll go dig myself this "whole" you speak of, and laugh at the redundancy of your response.

Actually music technically is, due to the sound entering the ear and the brain choosing which sounds are more appealing. Its basic Biology. Of course, seeing something amazing on stage is always nice, but then again thats why rap is so huge, and why metalcore/emo get attention it shouldn't. Though watching solo's on stage is always worth it.
    Metalcore = Thrash + Screamo/emo.
When you mix something amazing (Thrash) with something terribly cacophonic (screamo/emo) the result will only be brought down. Thats why most true metalheads dislike the genre. If they were more black metal, like tr00 kvlt, then screaming would be I guess fine.
Yet you listed 3 Inches of Blood up there. Thats like Rob Halford x one google. Its not bad, just your two points collide in a manner that doesn't boost your argument in the correct direction.

Just because you seem to lack the understanding of a basic analogy doesn't mean you should really ruin it for the rest of us. Though let me leave you with this metaphor: You are as useful as a man in a full tub with a hairdryer turned on in the water.
Oh wait-- thats an analogy. Nevermind.
But don't hesitate to follow those steps though.

Didn't that defeat the point a few points back?

Why the heck are you even debating about it then? If you don't listen to it, then you know as much as I am, and disqualify yourself from the pseudo-facts presented above.

Im a CYNICAL asshole, there is a difference. Also I cry blood-- incase the rap threads haven't told you that yet.
PS: Cynic is the best band ever. Well one of.

Calling my complete decapitation of your logic a redundant response cuts the femoral artery of stability and intelligence in one quick slice.
PS: I thought you would pick up the sarcasm on "Whole" but apparently you didn't. Another play on words fell upon deaf ears.
Dear God/Allah/Jew God/imaginary being that doesn't exist that everyone prays to, please give me the strength to never be smart on these forums again and waste my time, as clearly no one gets it.

I know all of music. I know metal as I am omniscient to it. The only one who knows more is Speljohan. Is like the king-grand-daddy of music. Though he can't really participate in these debates cause he has a reputation to uphold.

That is why we blow each others reputations to pieces: Cause we can.
At least you don't take this as serious as others do though. You should see how serious rap-kids take flames. They take IC flames so OOC its not even funny.

I think you missed my point.
Metalheads dislike the genre because they don't think it should be metal, but seeing how there are metal elements imbued with it, there is no argument against it. Sure it may not be everyone's taste, but if it were mixed with black metal, I don't think screaming about being dumped and shit would fit the genre.
That man actually screams, and the guitars are easily recognizable. Dragonforce on the other hand, the man just sings the same dumb crap each song, and the guitarist sounds like a keyboard. He plays so fast it's ridiculous.
If you can sit through listening to a whole Dragonforce CD, then that's pretty amazing.
I just thought I'd point out how incredibly inane it was.
Back in the day I listened to it, because it used to be all that I could learn on guitar, but as I went on I got into more heavier metal. I remember what it sounds like. I don't listen to it now, though.
Wait what? Why mask your response with insults because you may have been contradicted?
You are the epitome of narcissism, get over yourself.
Why are you afraid to accept a freaking spelling error? Quit trying to rationalize your mistake.
    No.
I really don't care, if people knew who I actually am, I have a bad enough reputation anyway. I don't feel vindicated though, I'll tell you that much.

Holy SHIT that was a bad black metal band. Way too happy to be a real black metal band. Try listen to some good black metal like Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Satanic Warmaster, Bathory or Immortal.
