Avenged Sevenfold is metalcore, a sub-genre of metal, therefore still metal.
owait, is that a whole genre of metal I see wearing makeup? I think it's called black metal. But really, does stage presence alter the quality of the music? I don't think so. You suck at logic.
EDIT: Oh, this is a "heavey" metal band thread, whoever created this thread: way to go, dipshit.

You've got an armada of things wrong here.

First: Yes black metal wears make up, but its way more enjoyable then metalcore. Metalcore is basically hardcore emo with riffs and maybe some solos. Metalcore is usually shunned upon metal audiences who like thrash/black/death metal. I know me and my friends decided to void a dragonforce concert cause there was more metalcore-screamo bands headlining it. It was not worth it.

Second: Yes, their stage presence does alter the quality of the music. Screamo-emo-core or whatever the hell you find enjoyable from that cacophonous pus-spewing rat trap to the cochlea of the ear, really makes me question how metal you are.

Lastly: Before you make some pathetic statement about logic, I suggest you go read 100% of my other posts in this forum. If you don't mind getting kicked into the dirt and stepped on by me again and again, I suggest you stop before the whole you dug becomes an abyss for you.

it strange how on every forum in a metal thread there is at least one person that seems to just want to payout on every one else for thier choice of music. Especially about bands wich are boarderlining metal such as some metal core bands. not attacking any one or naming any names but just saying it's wierd.
