Having trouble making an RS Client

Hi there,

Im quite new in the world of Visual Basics so forgive me
Ive been working on a RS client wich in my oppinion looks awsome so far
however, when someone else on a different computer tries to use it, it's all messed up ( everything's too big or too small)

i know this has got something to do with your resolution, but how can i make my rs client automaticly detect this and make it adjust itself to the user's monitor?

i'm sorry if my english sucks.. im from holland

ps: been trying to use someone elses source code but i cant get it to work.. since im really new to visual basics.

 

Most professional clients work around this (I think this is what you're saying) by having users set their RS to "fixed" window mode instead of resizeable or fullscreen.

 

If you're using VB.NET just change the anchor properties and the dock properties accordingly. Those will allow you to adjust the size of controls independent of screen resolution when the window is resized.
