I can believe what I want to believe, and "us Christians" don't have to have any authority to do so.
I haven't decided any part of the bible is wrong, I have just interpreted it in a different way, I never said it has flaws or ANYTHING wrong with it, just my stance on the situation with the parents is that they took it too far... WAY too far.
Also, noone here is praising the bible mate... We aren't prancing around and singing songs about it, in fact, your the only one that has quoted from it so far this whole thread.

There once was an atheist whom killed someone! :O
    Blame all the atheist.

It's amazing how pathetic some of your comments are.

(I'm not saying religious beliefs hasn't done the same. But it's amazing how everything is so much bigger on this website once it's about religion).

How is this in anyway funny. There is a line from being religious to being stupid.
All you idiots saying its funny, would it still be funny if this was your relative or your stupid ass.

But overall what a stupid family who do they think they are, God doesn't answer prayers on the spot...

This is why I hate religious fanatics.

Ok, well not really, but people who take it to this extreme and obviously realize their child is suffering from something and their prayer hasn't worked for over a month and DON'T do anything about it really pisses me off. I'm glad they face prison time, just imagine what that poor little girl was going through.

It's completely normal for young people to get diabetes. I was diagnosed with type 1 a few years ago.

I'm not really crazy about religion, But I do believe in prayer, and I do believe that there is something watching over us. So for the people hating on christianity, I've heard plenty of reasons for why prayers are sometimes never answered.

    • One, a person never relies on god except when they need him for something.

    • God has a reason for not answering some prayers. Because sometimes an unanswered prayer can be a good thing. Sure the little girl died, but he could have been protecting her or someone else from a future harm.

    • God isn't nice. He's cruel

The parents should have realized that they cannot rely on god for everything. It's a persons duty to take care of themselves and it's God's to help the human when they can't help themselves.

Well, I say once your in hospital and then can't get better. Fair enough. Then pray - But not taking to a hospital and believe to be healed??

Doesn't work like that. at ALL!

If i had a child. i would take him/her to hospital first.

Those parents should be jailed for ignoring their child's health issues and choosing to pray to a fake god.
