    For the record, I haven't actually been hacked/lost anything as of now. I did not accept a picture file in MSN, but consider it a possibly that the bug was transferred in a similar way. The IP address provided in the hacker's screenshot was also remotely similar to mine.

    As a precaution, I had myself temporary banned until I've ensured my computer is secure. For this suggestion: No. We are responsible for our own accounts.

    It is incredibiliy hard for a hacker to insert a RAT in a jpeg file. It doesn't work, it would be like this.

    <erjtkejrtrhthjkrhtjerhtjhrejthrejkthjeb fbdmerhuithekj rthrejkt heruith jkerhtjehrtjherjhttejtwhejrkhg</body> (Pretend that is the file image and the virus)

    Now, it wouldn't appear on MSN as a jpeg as the coding is messed up due to added coding of a virus, so now it isn't classified as a pic anymore.

    Pictures cannot be viruses unless you go to a site where you download the app for the virus.

    are you trying to sound smart? or am i just reading your post wrong,
    you can NOT no matter WHAT get hacked if someone knows your ip.
    the MOST they can do is ddos you...

    your lieing tbh, ive seen the thread, the hacker has taken your rs acct, had your sythe password, and yes he did send you a PIC FILE on msn, im sorry but dont lie about that to make yourself look better.
