I think most of the scam victims have tried that.

The question should be if anyone succeed to persuade the scammer to not scam them.

Yeah that's a better question actually. But I'm still curious tbh, normally people just block the scammers off and not say a word.

Most scammers are just your normal average day person. They scam online because it does not effect them IRL. They can scam $2000 then go visit grandma 15 minutes later and be a totally normal person. Most scammers feel emotions and the same concerns everyone else does ; some scam for the rush, some for the money, some because their desperate; but at the end of the day ; they are all people. The question is never "HAS" anyone spoken to a scammer to try to get them to stop; it's "WHY" are they scamming. Certain types of scammers get a rush, a thrill from it - these guys are the ones that dont care whether its $50 or $5000, they love it. It's like a gambling addiction. Then the guys that truly need it cant be spoken to or convinced because they might need it for rent, food, some major basic living expense just to keep living. Then there's the guys that just are in it for the money. These guys are the ones that you might be able to convince or talk out of; They like the idea of free money but typically they are actually the best of the worst in terms of scammers; These guys are the ones that can change and reintegrate into this forum/society and should be allowed to. Staff on this forum dont understand this and instead of allowing reintegration; they keep banning and denying pardons which just keeps the people that COULD change in a never endless cycle of scamming, staff are the oppressors(IN THIS SCENARIO). To alot of people staff are the ones that protect them and ban the "bad guy" but to a scammer in this specific thread/topic ; Staff are the ones at fault here. Alot of scammers feel hard-done by when their pardons or other issues are not addressed or accepted and it just drives them into a scamming/desolate rage which in the end could of been prevented if a pardon was just accepted, or a staff actually took the time to speak to a scammer; It makes me sick to see pardons get denied and then see 10-20 reports pop up over a month or 2's time knowing that had they been accepted; there's a real chance none of that would of happened. YES they could scam again; YES they could use their profile to scam more; But does it really matter? If someone is allowed back truly and cleans up; dozens/hundreds of potential victims are saved, if someone is allowed back and instead scam quits more; 2-10 people are harmed. Staff on this forum unfortunately never have seemed to grasp this. I personally believe literally every single pardon where true remorse is shown and reasonable expectations can be met that they will not scam again(or whatever the offense is) should be accepted without an ounce of hassle. I would rather staff put their efforts into things like educating scammers; speaking with them; creating a resource center for them to have to read before they can rejoin sythe explaining whos harmed, why, why they should be legitimate(with success stories), etc. The owner and staff on this forum I would say have failed at addressing the issue that has plagued this forum for over a decade and continue to fail at it every single day. Which is why you cant see a new member join without being a ban evader; You cant see someone on the forum now without thinking their a scammer; this forum has truly misunderstood this issue for so long and there's nobody left that cares.

@Pest I actually agree with you... I have this TWC for making a stupid mistake but its been years and I still can't get it off despite being truly remorseful but hey its not like I can prove anything right? I need to get like at least 5 vouches but its so difficult to get them when nobody trusts me lol.

If you know what you're doing, getting scammed is pretty much almost impossible

Discord UID has pretty much ensured that you always know who is who and that masking yourself as someone else is impossible

    Just be safe out there.

to be blunt, people look for the easy way of things. ive had 5 scammers reach out to me over my pure so far. they think they can trick me into letting them scam me.

some people do fall for their scams and its an easy payout whether it be a free account or mills. making money on the game is pretty easy if you know what you're doing...

years ago I knew a guy on RSC who scammed almost everyone at one point in time, he gave me multiple free party hats to gain my trust then scammed me for a measly 200m in items. Mind you, the party hats were well over 600m each, you can never fully expect things when it comes to people on this game.
