There is no abuse here, it's an old expensive way to train magic. If there was a way to do it free I would understand patching it, but for the price you pay for it I don't see why it would be "patched" when it's not a bug in the first place; it's working as intended

How is it working as intended? You think Jagex designed this spell so 2 people could just sit and spam this on each other for hours? Any rational person will tell you that was not the purpose of the spell and so it is now not working as intended

lol its intended purpose would be to save a buddy while pking or at a boss monsters not for people to spam and gain fast experience

It's around 18 GP per exp. It helps if you have a law staff as well.

Extremely expensive. It would be better if you bursted Rock Lobsters, Giant Rock Crabs or those skeletons at Ape Atoll. The benefits are when bursting Lobsters or Crabs, you get a load of charms and Hp experience. Of course Lobsters being better for charms. In Ape Atoll, the exp is faster than the 2 I just mentioned, but it gives no charms.

There are different alternatives. I would rather spend 100M on crafting, than getting 94-99 Magic.

This does depend on how much you value your time. Also it takes 2 players to do this.

This isn't abusing anything, however it is a very good method and if a lot of people start doing this in sudden bursts Jagex will surely find a way to stop it, or lessen the xp gained or times required between each cast

Trying to level up magic on a pure right now, unfortunately cant do lunar on it without getting defense :/ seems like an easy way to gain magic xp thou
