GTA V for PC announced

Sweet, now, this cruddy thing can't handle it. Can anyone link/talk about a PC good enough for GTA V?

 

Well, since it isn't released yet, and Rockstar hasn't said anything yet, we don't know what the system requirements are. But, I'll try to help you out. A good thing for you to tell me would be your resolution. If you're gaming under 1080p, an FX-6300, GTX 760 and 8GB should be able to run it on maximum settings at 60fps. If you're running at 1080p, I'd recommend upgrading to either an FX-8320/FX-8350 (if overclocking)/i5-3350p/i5-3570k (if overclocking), GTX 770 and 8GB of RAM.

 

GTA V for PC coming in the fall... exactly why my grades are going to plummet this fall.

Btw, think a 16GB RAM, GT750 M, quad-core i7 laptop can run the game smoothly?

 

You have no idea how fucking pumped I am for this. In the back of my head, part of my PC upgrade was due to the potential of GTA 5 coming out at some point (I upgraded back in May).

Anyway I went with 1866MHz RAM (only 8 GB, 16 is overkill), an i5 4670k (great for overclocking and gaming even at stock) and an R9 280X graphics card. So far it's taken everything I've thrown at it on max settings at a crisp 60+ FPS. Spent under $1k on it. I'd recommend doing a similar build.

 

Played Max Payne 3? GTA5 will be using an improved version of the engine it uses. And if that's the case, the game will run very nicely indeed compared to the port atrocity known as GTA4 PC...

 

What is different between the console and PC versions? Besides graphics ofc.

 

it's been announced and a release date of november has been given, yeah, but they could always postpone the release date

Hope my gaming notebook can run it. If it could run bf4 at med-high settings, it should be able to run gta v without a problem... right??

 

It's probably going to have the same lifespan as GTA IV, which was so long because of the mods.
If GTA V is just as easy to mod as GTA IV is, it'll be wayy better than any console.

 

Will certainly be intresting have played since san andreas. I plan on getting it for pc
