Okay. Posting a request thread does nothing but spams, as people with shops open are usually the only one's who make sigs.

People are allowed to request, but, in my opinion it would be better not to waste your time in a new thread. And please don't argue with each other, it's not smart. I want to keep this thread alive for debating the issues with the graphics if you have an issue. Not to bicker issues about eachother .

Yes but when you post a request you get input from multiple designers, not just one. See the difference? :noworry:

 

You started out talking about freedom of speach then you changed your arrgument. Sacraficing multiple input in exchange for a more organised serction is a no brainer.

 

I will personally seek out and murder whomsoever brings speculative work to this forum.

 

I like your idea a lot. I have been noticing this also, not even many contribute to SOTW anymore.

 

it's greatly improving. It practically tripled two weeks ago.

 

well gfx has died. everyone left then chamillitary came out and took over the section.then he got banned and slam took him place. slam is unactive now so chamilitary is unbanned now and resuming gfx so its hanging by a thread. also everyone using paint kills it more.

I completely agree with you. To be honest GFX needs some great artists for people to look up to (e.g durial, TDD etc...), aswell as a new start. I think Sythe Administration should take this into great consideration.

 

Some people can make better works in mspaint than others can in photoshop.

I'll get tribal to make a staff lounge thread.

We just need to somehow awaken the interest in signatures, avatars, and art again, make a contest that award some special status for a week perhaps, or some other reward perhaps?

Considering Finn did nothing more in the way of this competition, noone did, or would've won. Everyone spent time and effort creating entries, yet they were NEVER judged.

 

Now gfx is REALLY inactive. The artist, pooppy(and some #s), Slave of ja, and all the other gfx artists left/became inactive. I'm trying to post new stuff in the showcase, help people when they ask, make signatures (for free most of the time), but it all isn't working out .
I do agree with the thing somebody suggested, prizes for the winner of the SOTW.
Other then that, what can we do? 0_o
