Gp Price History

Does anyone know if I can find historical prices for gp anywhere? I'd like to do a bit of research on the real returns of items like rares, but I can't without historical gp prices.

Use a wayback machine and look at the official RS forums of people buying/selling.

To work out average pricing back in time and now for repayments I'd use R2's website and work out the mean of buying and selling prices because websites tend to be a little bit more expensive.

So that in addition to the web archive should be pretty accurate.

Also, sorry for the way late thanks. Was busy with finals and family stuff and whatnot.

 

You'd only want to collect data from back in Feb, 2011. Anything prior would be irrelevant since it would include transfer costs. Perhaps sometime when I am not busy I could create a graph with my buying/selling data dating back to 2011.

That would be great! I would gladly accept the raw data by itself if that's okay with you. Graphs by themselves aren't too good for doing analysis with. Plus you wouldn't have to spend any time putting together the graph.

When you say 'early 2011', do you mean prior to the release of free trade on Feb 1st?

 

If you are trying to invest in rares, I doubt it would work out in 07 because everyone wants a rare and has a rare in 07 making it not rare.
