    If you live in a slightly rough area, my guess would be someone was wearing it as 'fake bling' but yeah, nice find nonetheless, may as well get it checked out too.

    I've found 10s, 20s, and one hundred so far. (I found the original owner for all of them except one of the 10s, couldn't find the person >.<)...I also found $40 in my old toy box while cleaning my room, which was nice :p Although the best thing I found was 4 tickets on the ground in Dave and Busters (an arcade), which was just enough to help my sister get the stuffed animal she really wanted.
