You really are letting them advertise? I just can't WAIT, can't wait for the scam reports to fall in about them soon enough, *cough* Power4RS.com *cough* I mean wow, really..

 

Ahahaha no doubt... Just goes to show you how desperate sythe is for money. Sythe had them affiliate before, and then got rid of them after a whole bunch of crap. He got rsfine after that and that failed again. So now he goes back to the people he dropped off awhile back.

A better solution would be for you to cough up the cash to support the website.

Most of the people who complain are the ones who are dumb enough to fall for a scam.

 

I've offered plenty of money to him and he said no. I probably still have the email that you can look at if you don't believe me.

 

I believe that donations are currently accepted through WU and mail.

Perhaps you offered the money in some other form? Or it may be possible that since you joined in March and have 10 posts that he didn't believe your offer was legitimate.

Either way, your initial reply to your thread didn't help express your "dedication" to the site.

 

Donations won't take down the advertisements though. Unless someone can buy out all the advertisement spots and leave them blank...

 

Would you care to explain your expenses, and what gold4rs is paying you along with adbrite, and donations into consideration?


To xceleration: You think I'm that stupid to donate a ton of money to a site so you can get on every day, and post? I want something out of it, and I emailed sythe to advertise, but was denied without even explaining the site I wanted to advertise.

If you are, it didn't fail at all. They were no longer able to fund the advertisement space, so they had to leave. If you have a suggestion for a better site that can possibly advertise, then please have them send a message to [email protected]. Otherwise, I don't see how this thread can be at all productive.

 

I don't think donations help pay for the server alone, unless they rack up at least $300 every month. Also, do you really think all proceeds go just to the website? If I or anyone else had a website, we'd surely keep the rest of the revenue to ourselves. If the Gold4Rs advertisement bothers you so much why don't you just adblock it or boycott Sythe?

Well if they stop advertising, that can be considered a 'fail'. Sythe already said the second bit.

 

Did you not read my post? I've already done the whole emailing, and my whole thing for advertising. Denied, didn't even get to explain the site.

 

If you did everything correct there is no reason your request was denied without an explanation.

 

Even if it was denied with no explanation, it's Sythe's site and he can decide to deny people. If Cfrey was trying to get an advertisement for Cryptx the obvious reason would be that Sythe does not want ads of other similar communities.

 

This is not a full partnership like last time, as far as I know; it's just an ad. It is your responsibility to look them over, and decide whether you wish to use their service. There are mixed experiences with every gold company, and as long as the site is legitimate, we shouldn't have to run quality control.

 

I'm glad sythe is getting more advertisers. They aren't forcing you to buy from them, now are they?

 

If Sythe denied his request, there would be a valid reason. Of course it is his choice whether or not to disclose his reasoning.

 

Any chance you could release the monthly numbers? I'm sure some people would be more considerate after seeing the actual bills.
