girl advice.

So i have been looking through this forum and you guys seem to be good help, so here's my story and what i need advice on.

So, i moved to Kansas about 6 months ago, me being what people call "Military brats" But anyway i moved here i guess you could say its a new start. so i make a few friends when i get here i meet this girl and i date her she cheats on me whatever it happens, and her name is Alicia so, well i was "talking" to Alicia i was also talking to a girl named Naomi (before me and Alicia dated) but then i decided to go for Alicia, long story short Naomi said she liked me, right when i broke up with Alicia, but that never turned into anything, Naomi started talking to other guys, which never went anywhere. i still talk to Naomi but nothing serious, just your casual conversations. Well Naomi, i basically fell for her since day one, Shes the most beautiful girl ever. everything about her is perfect like i cant put it in words, anyway i really like Naomi and i've told her this and i just dont know if she feels the same way, we have everything in common and i just dont know. her longest relationship was 1 month which idk how shes a dime, anyway i just dont know how to find out if she likes me without making our friendship awkward. i already asked her before she cut me off, but she still flirts with me (at least i think, she sends me smiley faces and talks to me in a flirty way) any advice?

If she liked you before chances are she still does, unless something happened in between that made her not like you in that way anymore. If she cuts you off when you bring it up now then idk just bring it up again and see what happens. If she cuts you off or changes the subject the next time then it probably means something.

idk a while after i broke up with Alicia Naomi was talking to another guy and i told her how it was going with him and she said she doesn't know and she thought he was talking to another guy and she said she didn't want to be a choice. which was ironic because she made me a choice. idk if she just wants to be FWB which im down with but if i said that and she didn't feel the same way or she thought it was weird and didn't talk to me than idk what i would do

also, if it doesn't work out... you can still be friends without it being awkward. you're over thinking it.

I don't think she would do that tbh, if she does, just be like "Guess you're just too nice." or something, don't make it awkward if she does say that. (I doubt she would say that), but Just ask her "Why are you always flirting with me?" Nonchalantly and see what happens, it won't be that bad. If you don't end up asking/finding out, it will be more awkward than if you just found out real quick. I'd go do it soon before she finds other options.

yeahh, but i mean i've known her for the past 5 months, it just sounds weird. plus if i did ask her it would be over text. i guess im just an awkard person and make everything more difficult than it could be haha.

I think if u really have feelings for her you should just go for it. Especially since she confessed she liked u before chances are high. To me, you shouldn't do things u might regret in the future, even if she might say no at least u know u have tried. And in these cases it doesn't mean ur friendship will end. Gl buddy

nah man, you got to say it in real life or it won't be authentic. obviously, don't say it out of nowhere, but wait till she does something flirtatious. you can ignite by flirting with her first, and when she does it back like "omg, i love you" type shit, there's your chance. she might bite, she might not. worst case scenario, she'll ease the situation. girls are good at that.

you just got to learn to put yourself out there and not be afraid of rejection. if you want to find out, you're gonna have to do something to find out. otherwise, she'll move on and you'll do nothing but sit there and regret it. it's happened more than once to me.

 

Dont worry about "ruining friendships" - that doesn't happen unless you're immature and argue and have shouting matches and get stupid. It is possible to end a relationship on good "agree to disagree" terms. But if you even have to think about the break up now, then are you really as in to her as you thibk?

Hang out, ask her to come round, have some banter, spend quality time getting to know her, ask her about herself and do things she likes.

Then just tell her you really like her and ask her out.

its kind of hard seeing how i live on a military base, she doesn't have her full license yet and i dont have mine right now, we've both talked about hanging out many times but it hasn't happened yet. im suppose to take my test to get my full licenese next week but we'll see, thanks for the advice everyone. much help

okayyy, so i haven't done anything yet :/ i just don't talk to her as much anymore, and in the lunch line today she went to the kid in front of me and was like "hey Justin can you buy me a cookie" i just feel like she uses nice guys. at least the kid looked nice, and im know im nice. but maybe she's not the one for me? time will tell i guess. she never texts me first anymore and doesn't keep in contact as much as she did a few weeks ago. i dont know why but she might not be interested, and i might be having second thoughts because of what happened today. Do what your gut tells you, it'll guide your decision. If you actually think you'll have a future with her, then go for it. If you don't think that things will work out, I wouldn't go for it and waste my time on her. Let us know how things go!

If she's ignoring your texts completely, you must have said something wrong to turn her away like that. Maybe you came on as too strong or you might have come on as creepy, girls are weird like that, trust me it happens to the best of us.
